Under the Kitchen Sink's project was a nasty one... Under my Kitchen Sink!

Here is the nasty, dirty, gross before shoot.

Just look at the old shampoo bottles and tooth paste...all empty but not disposed of yet!! I took everything out and admired all of the dirtiness. Oh...I hate to even look at that!

Notice how the back of the cabinet has drooped down. I inherited it that way when I bought the place. I have tried everything to pull it back up...even drilled into it and tried yanking it up! No such luck. I did not have any cute contact paper on hand but I plan on getting some this weekend. That should help tremendously with the way it looks!

Here are the contents of my sink cabinet.

So, I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed. And then I scrubbed some more. I forgot to take a picture of the progress I made in getting rid of the grossness. But like I said, I hope to find some fabulous contact paper this weekend so I will have to take another picture then.

And... drum roll please...

Tah Dah!!

I got rid of half of the cabinets contents. AND... you can kind of see the shine and reflection of the clean bottom!

I have always complained that I need just "one more room". I have never thought I had enough storage. But once you go through your house and really organize your space, you see how much room you really have. I am finding more and more SPACE each day! Yeah me!!

  1. Super job! I found the dollar store does have some contact paper. It was just big enough to fit my space in pieces without a whole roll of what am I going to do with all of this?

  2. I totally used to think the same thing, i need one more room, when i lived in my little apartment. well, when i moved out, i purged, A TON, and now, in my new place, keeping things(somewhat) organized, i realize, i didnt need more space then, i needed less stuff! I dont regret any of the purging i did and dont miss anything i now live without!
