Linen Closet Cleanout

Over the summer, I took everything out of my linen closet, cleaned it good and even painted the inside for a fun pop of color. However, as time went by, it began to fill up once again and needed to be re-organized.

So, today I cleaned and organized the linen closet.

Here is the before shoots.

I went through each shelf and decided what I could get rid of or find a better place for elsewhere.

I am donating the pile of my daughter's old clothes (too small), storing the pool towels and suits in the tub of other summer pool items, moving the old baby blankets to a tub of her baby items and the fake flowers will go to my seasonal tub in the outside storage closest to be used in the Spring.

And the after shoots.

I freed up so much extra room. The bottom shelf above will be my "accessories" shelf. When I want to change up an area around the house, I look through this shelf for vases, candles, etc. I need to go through the rest of the house and put all of these items together in the same spot. I got this great idea for Sherry over at Young House Love.

The bottom shelf above will be my paint accessories shelf and below that are the much neater extra blankets.

Check back again later today when I share a friends "Before and After" junk drawer clean out!

Keep up the good work...
